My style tends towards simple clothing with interesting detail, especially if the detail is vintage inspired, but I occasionally like a crazy print. I also love edgier stuff with a rock 'n roll or punk flair. Nobody was happier than me at the return of the pyramid stud, let me tell you. But, I'm edging towards the age when I really have to worry about the dreaded, "mutton dressed as lamb" phenomenon. I want to be interesting and current, but not looked up and down with pity. A fine line. Mostly, though, I just like looking pulled together, which really isn't that hard if you pay attention to the details.
I shop anywhere and everywhere: Banana Republic, Saks, Anthro, Ross, BCBG, Marshalls, Forever 21, eBay, you name it, I probably shop it. I mix high/low (mostly low) out of necessity, not because I think I'm being so terribly clever. Designers I love include Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Taylor, Chloe, DVF, Tibi, and Issa London. I pretty much worship Kate Lanphear's style, though I think you have to be a pro to pull it off successfully.
For fit reference, I'm 5'5 and 128lbs. I'm pretty evenly proportioned, but lean towards a pear shape. I love my legs, I hate my stomach. I generally wear a size 6 in pants, 4 in dresses, small in everything else. And away we go!
I love your face!
