This morning I thought it was time to pull out my
Reed Shirtdress one more time before it got too hot to even consider it. This dress is just so freaking
girly and fun to wear.
I bought the wedges I'm wearing at DSW at the very end of last summer so it was happy rediscovery when I unpacked them. They are high, but not uncomfortable. Uh, yet.
Pockets! I know the pockets-in-dresses thing has been kind of a trend for the past couple of years, but I love them (as long as they don't interfere with the lines of the garment and make me look poochy. Then I hate them. ) Mostly I just need a place to put my Chapstick.

I think I'd like my outfit more with a skinny belt because that wide brown belt just feels overwhelming. Maybe a skinny belt in a bright color? Or a neutral metallic? I need to get on that. Here are a few I love:

ReplyDeleteThe color of that dress is perfection on you! I am still kicking myself for not hunting down the green. I already had red plaid and orange so I didn't think I *needed* it. But now I am very sad I don't have one cause it looks just darling on you!
ReplyDeleteAlso I quite like the wide brown belt with it. I think it looks great but I love a studded belt and think the brown would be a very nice pairing with the green.
