I looked back to see what I did with the dress the last time I posted it on the blog and cracked up because, yeah, this is a Monday dress*. It's basically a nightgown and could not be more comfortable. I'm still kind of figuring out how to dress around the new hair color (er, no pink?) and I struggled a bit to figure out what shoes to wear, but I'm pretty happy with the results:
dress: Max Studio (similar)
shoes: Chie Mihara (similar)
necklace: Charming Charlie (similar)
bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs Hillier
cat: Stella, who does not love me (similar)
*Ahem, I guess this is the part where I admit that my outfits are all a day behind? So when you see the "outfit of the day" it's really the "outfit of yesterday." Sorry! This ain't no real-time blog.
I really do love that dress. It is so flattering on you. And the hair has already toned down its redness a little. I don't think you should shy away from pink, though I can't really recall ever seeing you in pink anyway.
ReplyDeleteYou look comfortable without being sloppy. Very nice! And yeah, some of my outfit posts are several days behind. Or a week.
ReplyDeleteI'm diggin' the hair!
ReplyDeleteI had to give up all my fuschia (how DO you spell that?) when I went red, but salmon, of every shade, seems to work. Pink and purple seem to make me look pale(r than usual).
ReplyDeleteWearing my Ross dress today, that I got because you made me go there. Yay you!
Yay for your Ross dress!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I don't wear a ton of pink but I do have a fuchsia shirt I like and that's out for now.
