Working on these
outfit sets for our last reader question has me thinking lately about my own mom "uniforms" or "momiforms" as I jokingly call them. In the summer it's so easy to throw on shorts and a top and flat sandals and call it a day but this weekend's crisp weather called for something with more forethought. A trip to the zoo meant comfort and layers, and looking semi presentable (because if I don't look presentable, I run into ex-boyfriends. Yes.).

And so, here is a momiform I reach for a lot in the cooler months of fall. Relaxed jeans, a long tank top and tissue weight t-shirt, a cozy oversized cardigan, fun sneakers, and a scarf. Done.

Cute toddler optional.

sneakers: Asics Onitsuka Tigers (similar here)

I love layers too and am proud of the way I've dressed up my momiform lately. I pay partial credit to you guys for making me bolder in my fashion choices. So, thanks!
