Adrien: Just In Case You Think I Know What I'm Doing...

Yeah, so I went to Ann Taylor on Friday and I returned the trench coat. If it gets marked down all crazy I might consider re-buying it, but mostly I was fine with letting it go. Thanks, you guys, for all your comments and advice!

But, I'm not out of the woods yet. the SA was all, "We have a bunch of new markdowns you should check out!" Who am I to say no to that? So, what did I do? I bought the following:

Yes, that's right. I bought a striped shirt and a leopard print scarf as if these are brand new things I don't already have. I fail.

    Kinda sad you got rid of the trench. I think I was one of the few who was rooting for it. But yeah, if it gets super marked down, you better get it again! :) Stripes and leopard are your signatures! You'll wear the hell out of those things!

    I know, it's okay though! I do have a standard camel trench so it was more of a fun piece. Really, it came down to the whole cost-per-wear thing.

    No, it wasn't terrible (about $135) but I mostly wear dresses and it was really meant to be worn with pants.
