Adrien: Stumpy.

Lately I haven't been posting all my outfits because I look at the photos and think, "OH HELL NO." And then  I remember we promised to show you the ones that don't quite work and, what a coincidence! I'm wearing one of those today. Not only does it not work, I can also use it to teach a lesson: How To Look Stumpy. Here's what you need:

- cropped pants
- a shirt with a long tail
- a sad pair of flats

What you get is this:

For bonus points, throw on a cropped jacket and you'll look like all your clothes shrunk:

Stupid outtake, because at this point, why not?

Yay! Success.

pants: Banana Republic (similar)
jacket: Banana Republic (similar)
shoes: Cole Haan (similar)
bag: vintage Louis Vuitton (similar)

  1. I get that "oh, hell no!" feeling all the time. Thus I have almost no outfit pics.

Oh well, I'll neve be a teen model.

  4. Yeah, I think it looks adorable when you add the jacket and bag! That hemline on tops is always weird for me too.

  5. It's all darling, really. I want that shirt and jacket. Lately I've been struggling with any kind of cropped pant, I feel like they stump me up big time. How can we overcome?

  8. You look so cute! Not stumpy at all. I think you're channeling Audrey Hepburn here and I love it!

  9. Oh man, if I never posted the photos where I look stumpy- well, I'd never have anything to post!

And I think these flats are far from sad, I love the gathering detail.
