It was one of those mornings where I just stare at my closet blankly because I have no idea what to wear. I found pants, I decided on shoes, I picked out a cardigan. But, as always, the top confounded me. (This is why I wear so many dresses, people.) Why can't I find inexpensive cute knit tops in interesting colors? WHYYYY. Life is so hard. I finally dug out some sad Target tee I found in the bottom of my drawer that put on because it wasn't striped or black. Yay. This is what I came up with:
Not bad, but I decided I didn't like the shirt tucked in and untucked:
Which is not really better because these pants have a giant button placket thing. Ugh.
I'm tired.

I hate those mornings. I try to pick out things the night before because otherwise I end up making hasty decisions before caffeine has worked its way into my system.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I really like this outfit! I think it is cute. The pants are very Hepburn-esque. And the color with the print cardi is a great combo!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI absolutly cannot pick out clothes in the morning either. I have to make those decisions the night before or I end up in the most mismatched and ill fitting outfits.
I'm pretty sure I have that exact same Target purple tee. And I'm with you on the dresses. Skirts I can find. Dresses yay. Cardigans and layering tees run amuck in my wardrobe. But good standalone tops are hard to find.
