Adrien: Comfy.

I wore this last week on a day when my goal was comfort. I think it's funny that some folks think they can't be comfortable and well-dressed at the same time. It's a completely doable goal! Look how freaking cute I am! (Just kidding.) But seriously, squishy ballet flats, a roomy top, stretchy cropped pants? These are all comfortable things without being sloppy.

Add a trench coat and a ridiculous scarf and you're good to go:

We will all just please ignore the fact that everything I'm wearing is, in fact, cropped. Oops.

top: Gap (similar)
pants: Gap (similar)
shoes: um, Gap (similar)
trench: Ann Taylor
scarf: Ann Taylor (similar)
necklace: J Crew Boho locket

  1. I love this, cropped and all. You wear cropped pants so well, I always feel like I am somehow too tall to pull it off? Maybe it's just years of pants being a hair too short in my youth.

  2. I agree, I ALWAYS dress for comfort but don't think style has to be thrown out. I get comments of "oh, you are so dressed up" when I just throw on a comfy dress. Dress= simple. Cotton dress= simple, comfortable.

  3. I will admit that I'm willing to be a little uncomfortable to look good but I just don't think comfortable has to = sloppy. And yes, a simple cotton dress is the most comfortable thing ever!
