Adrien: Valuable Lessons

More layers! I don't know why I do this, really. It's not like I'm teaching you some valuable lesson on how to wear a cardigan over a t-shirt and then! Dun dun dun...a jacket! (You can steal that idea, I don't mind.)

So, leopard print and a bunch of downplaying so it doesn't look tarty, but a fun necklace so it doesn't look too, uh, downplayed:


Then a cardigan so I don't freeze in my igloo office:


Perhaps I should've buttoned it or something. Huh. Anyway, then a jacket because it might be warm(ish) out, but it's still December:

    I am glad you posted this, because this morning I put the t-shirt OVER my jacket and it's all bunchy and I feel weird.

    Where do you get your hair cut? I'm a lurker fan (harmless I swear) who has admired your hair more than the clothes (love the clothes too). And what type of hair do you have naturally? Do you straighten it? Is it fine or thick?

    Hi! I get my hair cut by Wendy at Red Salon.(www.redsalonorganics.com) My hair is naturally very straight and fine but I do occasionally use a flat iron to make bits of it more angular.

    OK, I'll delurk--
    I have super straight and fine hair as well. But it appears as if you have tons of it. If you don't--you have the world's most fantastic haircut because your hair looks great in all the pics!
    I live in Nashville and only occasionally get to Knoxville (I went to UTK). Do you have a photo that you use as reference?

    I am going to make you sad and explain that Marianne lives in Knoxville, but I'm in Virginia. But, if you can find a Bumble & bumble salon and ask for a razor cut, you'll probably get a good approximation.     I'm also curious about the fit of the jacket... on you it looks perfect, on jcrew's site it looks kinda small. Is it true to size or did you buy a size up?
