I can't say it! It mortifies me. My husband didn't even believe that was what it was called. What say you? Do you find the term Shmussy Bow embarrassing, or do you think I'm being childish? Wouldn't be the first time, is all I'm saying.
blouse: Banana Republic (outrageously priced, but remarkably similar here)
cardigan: LOFT
skirt: Gap (similar here)
tights: Spanx Tight End Reversible
boots: Frye Lisa (similar here)
No, I am with you. I can't say it either.
ReplyDeleteshmussy bow! ehehehehehehehe. (apparently I am 10)
ReplyDeleteAdrien, ME TOO! What the hell?
ReplyDeleteI hate that name too! I call them secretary blouses! :)
ReplyDeleteThey're called WHAT?
ReplyDeleteWhat Amblus said! However, I can't use the name in reference to the shirt. ;)
ReplyDeleteSecretary blouse is a good compromise! I really don't like calling them that but I did use the term on my blog recently cause I wore a dress that I should have probably just termed "tie neck." haha
ReplyDeleteYes, "tie neck" is so much better. I refuse to use the other name. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
ReplyDeleteI love this whole outfit, especially the blouse! Did you get it recently from BR or is it an older item?
ReplyDeleteWhy in the heck are they called Pussy Bow blouses? I really don't get it. I've had to wait two days until I had internet at home time to look this up instead of google-ing "pussy bow" at work to confirm this, and I'm so annoyed at the stupid moniker. Is this shopbop's fault?
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you. There are only a handful of words in the English language that I refuse to say and that is one of them. No real reason. If the word must be said, then I spell it. Perhaps that makes me childish/ridiculous and I am okay with that.
ReplyDeleteFound the blog from one of the Liebster awards and I am a new follower :)
