Wanty: All The Things.

So, my saint-like shopping restraint was apparently short-lived as now I want to buy ALL THE THINGS. ALLLLL THEEEE THIIIIINNNNNGGGS.  I am in a bad way, you guys. Here is a list of things I’ve manage to not buy lately even though I really want to a lot.

I’m not sure where I’d wear this (and I’m not generally a graphic tee kinda girl) but I want it anyway:

(WTF with those pants?) Also, this is so great:

I could wear that to work, right?

I’ve lately become obsessed with those smart phone wallet thingys, thanks to my friend Kate who says they’re basically perfect except that there’s nowhere to put your lipgloss. I agree, but I love the idea of a wallet/phone holder thingy enough that I’m willing to overlook the flaw. This is what I like:

And this one fulfills my Marc lust and would also match my new bag:

Speaking of Marc, I am VERY enamored with his new makeup line even though I haven’t really tried it and don’t know if it’s any good. It’s SO PRETTY:

Doesn’t that look like something I need in my life to make me feel complete? I THINK SO TOO. I also want to try the new Benefit They’re Real eye liner but I’m hoping I can score a sample:

Finally, I want these A LOT A LOT:

Will someone please tell me all this stuff sucks? Thank you.

  3. A recent study found that the pleasure of anticipation than the thing itself, e.g. a vacation.

So your yearning & frustration is actually deep-seated joy.

I was eyeing the MJ palettes just yesterday, but I need more eyeshadow like a hole in the head. So far in my experience, Estee Lauder & Nars have the truest, saturated color & non-flaking texture.

  4. Ok, on the smart phone wallet thingie. I have a MbMJ one (don't hate me), and it's nice and I use it all the time. As a plain, old wallet. First, jamming my iPhone in there, with the protective case on is either (a) difficult (with the cheapie Old Navy case) or (b) impossible (with the MbMJ case, WTH?). I don't like popping my case on and off, and I'm a huge klutz, so a case is a must. YMMV. Second, if I have the wallet in my bag, it's a pain in the ass to dig it out, unzip it, and un-jam my phone every time I need to take a call. Tl;dr I think it's a great idea in principle, more than actual fact. With all due respect to your friend. I'm sure she's far less of a klutz than me.

    1. Thanks, Adina! For me it would be used as just a wallet, with the occasional stowage of phone if I'm just running to the store without my bag, etc. I like the option of being able to fit my phone in my wallet, but probably wouldn't keep it in there because I'm waaaaaay too addicted.

  5. I bought that eyeliner and will be taking it back to Sephora. You're better off without it.

    1. Same. It was super thick, hard to spread & draw a smooth line with. Once it dried it felt heavy on my eyelids. I've never "felt" eyeliner like that before. And it was flaky and a PITA to remove. I returned and went straight back to my Physician's Formula lash booster.

  6. I got the liner and I like it! It takes a bit to get used to how to apply it, but once you adjust it stays put and it's much easier to draw a straight line with than any other liner I've tried.
