Adrien: This Seems Familiar.

Despite my utter budget fail last month, I am unapologetic about what a great buy these cropped pants have been. It's a miracle that I actually found a pair of JCrew pants that fit me, much less that I adore. I wonder how they'd look with a pair of rad ankle boots? (I wonder if say "rad" is going to make you click out of here? It can't be helped.) Anyway:

I feel like I need to get more creative and figure out what colors tops might pair well with olive. Maybe a navy striped boatneck tee? Or a beautiful patterned blouse? Ooh. 

I'm wearing one of my workhorse Ann Taylor tops. When they get it right, they really get it right. I'm liking quite a bit of their fall collection. I'm carrying my Andrea Brueckner Aspen satchel, which I love because it reminds me of the Mulberry Bayswater I'll never own. You can still find AB bags on eBay, usually dirt cheap. 

The bracelets are my much-loved Giles & Brother skinny railroad spike and my necklace is my JCrew locket that I really should retire but I just can't seem to do it. Maybe I'll just get this one and pretend Marianne doesn't already have it.
