I know I've been doing a lot of eye-rolling lately about how weird Banana Republic has gotten and truly, things over there are still weird. But, they have a good sale going right now and if you do a bit of digging there are definitely bargains to be found on nice stuff. First, I want to talk about the fancy Todd & Duncan cashmere. Even with the extra 40% off they're still expensive, but nice cashmere is worth the money:

This sweater (which comes in several colors) runs big but, as Marianne said recently, all the sweaters right now are gin/ditch sweaters. Just go with it. If you want something more along the lines of a fancy wine cardigan, I'd check out the glorious Todd & Duncan Cashmere Layered Open Cardigan. Now that is a wine cardigan.

Moving on, I have to say that one thing BR does right is a slub tee and you know I like a stripe:

These little earrings are also a sparkly bargain. I'm a pretty big fan of Banana's denim and my favorite black high-waisted jeans are on sale, but sizing is very, very limited. I do think these distressed grey skinnies would work well into spring:
