Beauty: Stuff I'm Out Of.

Buying new products: So exciting! Rebuying products you've run out of: Ugh, what a drag. It's never as exciting the second or third time even if I love the product. I'm fickle. I'm also out of products that I like and will be heading to Ulta or Sephora on my next lunch break. Here's what I need:

Bumble and bumble Straight Blow Dry. Or, Repair Blow Dry. One of these.
I had a tube of the Straight Blow Dry and loved it and then it was gone but I had a deluxe sample of the Repair Blow Dry and really loved it and then it was gone and I got a deluxe sample of the Straight and loved it all over again and now I can't remember which one I loved more. Or if I loved one more than the other? But I'm totally out and need hair product. The regular All Style Blow Dry is okay but not great. If you're tempted get the Repair or the Straight. Dammit.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip cleanser.
Can I tell you how much I don't want to like Ceramic Slip? I mean, it's cleanser. You rinse it down the sink almost immediately. But, there's something about this stuff - it's a tiny bit foamy without stripping, has a lovely silky texture, and it smells good in a natural way. I want more but I just can't justify the cost and CeraVe cleanser will probably do just as well. Most likely not re-buying. Sad face.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.
I love UD eyeliners but they're really soft and require constant sharpening so I just blow through them. So stupid. I have lately been using Mushroom (metallic taupe-pewter) but I used to have Underground (metallic taupe. Totes different!) which I ran out of and now I want it again because Mushroom is just slightly too light on it's own. I don't know. Now I'm just making up reasons to buy more eyeliner.

Okay, I'm not out of this yet but I love it so much I want to buy backups in case it's seasonal or gets discontinued. It's so good! It just smells very gently of coconut and tropical things without being food-y or cloying. And so inexpensive! Love. It's not even listed on the Method website which worries me. Gah.

Why Have You Not.
Finally, while I'm here, I just bought another Japanese exfoliating towel because they come in different weaves and I have been using the green one which is hard weave and I really want to up my game with the super hard blue version! YES. LET'S DO THIS. I mean, it's $4.38 for something that will change your life. Why haven't you bought one yet? Don't you want to be soft like baby unicorn? Like whipped cream? Like whipped cream on baby unicorn? (Do not eat baby unicorn.)

  1. Kind of on this topic...I went to the Birchbox store in SoHo and felt like you guys would appreciate it. I got a sample box with 5 samples of my choice for $25 and it's adorable.
