I know, you guys. Winter is upon us and it's time for me to admit that my puffer jacket is what I end up reaching for the most. It's not cute but it's lightweight, warm and comfortable. That said, utilitarian doesn't have to be ugly, right? There are some really decent styles out there (check out Kim France's picks!) so if we MUST wear coats, at least they can be relatively cute right? (Just, go with it. Don't fight it.)
I have two such coats (long and ivory, short and black), so I don't need another one. Except maybe that Cole Haan jacket, which is lovely. I also am old enough that I remember calling them DOWN coats, and I think that puffer is a kind of fish.
