Back when I had a small business making jewelry I discovered Labradorite - an amazing grey stone with flashes of blue and green fire. It's not terribly expensive and I loved pairing it with other gemstones because it's subtle and neutral but also colorful. Anyway, it's my favorite and I'm always looking for good Labradorite jewelry:

ReplyDeleteLabradorite is my favorite too but I am always reluctant to purchase sight unseen as the "flash" can vary so much from stone to stone. The picture can only be of one stone so I always wonder if every piece is of the same quality. I think the higher end pieces will all have similar quality stones in each piece but not so much the lower priced pieces. What has your experience been?
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that the fire is going to vary, especially for lower-quality pieces. But, if you're ordering online it's always the luck of the draw, I suppose.
