There's been a lot of shorts talk on the blog this week but it's summer and Marianne and I are both really into our Outside Shorts. These are not running shorts or denim cut-offs, but something in between. They aren't fancy and they definitely have pockets. These are the shorts you wear to garden, hike, run errands, whatever. Maybe you even hike or whatnot? You need shorts for that, right? So, why not get a good pair? Here are my picks:
I love the Outside Voices Doing Things shorts. Perfect for hiking, hanging out, even swimming (they dry super fast - perfect if you're doing something like SUPing and you fall off). I love mine so much I got a pair as a gift for a friend.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks for the rec!
DeleteI don't know how I found them but my favorite shorts are from New York & Company - their Hampton/City short (they change the name every year) is the BEST pair of shorts I have found. They come in a 4 and 7 inch inseam (the 7 has a cuff which I don't love) and the 4 is perfect for me. They're long enough that I'm not hanging out of them and my thighs aren't rubbing but short enough that I don't feel like a grandma. Best part? They're almost always on sale for under 20 bucks. I usually buy 4-5 pair every year and own them in an array of colors and they're easy to dress up or down. Highly recommend!
