The sales are coming in hard and fast and I am bored and can't do anything but sit on my ass, so you can see how this is going. NOT GREAT. Instead of buying things I can't wear or use for...a while, I am going to tempt you with all my sale finds. I am a really good friend that way. Totally. But listen, Anthro has an extra 40% off sale styles and Madewell is offering up to 70% off. Help. Here are some things currently tempting me:
Not to be an enabler, but this really is the best time to shop. I did well at the Gap, Anthro, and Athleta. Why DON'T you own that bag already?
ReplyDeleteIt is the best time to shop but it's not as much fun when I can't go anywhere and can't wear normal pants or shoes for a couple of months. I'm holding off until spring if I can.
DeleteI'm a long time lurker. :) Remember that tiered green dress you were looking for over the summer? I was gifted the PERFECT tiered dress for Christmas and it made me think of that post. Just wanted to share in case this is what you were looking for. If the link gets weird, just google the Nap dress from Hill House. https://www.hillhousehome.com/collections/best-sellers/products/the-ellie-nap-dress-botanical-garden-crepe?variant=40321616904235
ReplyDeleteHey! I do know about the Nap dress and haven't tried it because I'm not sure about the smocking on me. But that is a really beautiful green!
DeleteThe smocking is pretty nice, not too constrictive but snug in a good way? Not normally my thing but it works with this dress.
DeleteHa! I was just taking a break from online shopping/grazing and I came here to see your post with more options for me to consider. Hmm, must be a sign! Sorry though that it's not very satisfying for you to have the temptation but you can't use the stuff for ages.
ReplyDeleteSome years ago I had foot surgery. I bought a pair of shoes for the post-recovery time and would try them on longingly off and on as the swelling and surgical site sensitivity receded. They were a small heel, and a very very soft leather mule. I remember the day they went on without pain! That was a fun aspirational purchase that ended up getting lots of use. Good luck Adrian. These are the days to endure.
